The good Mecha Santa plans to spread happiness and cheer all over the world. Princess Pitch, previously just a sidekick in Garden Gnome Carnage, sets out to put an end to those silly plans.

Gameplay-wise, Hyper Princess Pitch is a remake of DOS Operation: Carnage, keeping the fast-paced arcade action, short completion time, high replay value and cheesy self-narrating characters. Whether you tire of games with moral choices, or you've ever wanted to be made of equal halves explosions and piledrivers, this is the game for you.

Here's some more pre-release information for those interested.

While it is a remake, I aim to improve on Operation: Carnage's design. The basics of the gameplay remain the same, and you always travel through the same number of rooms in a level to reach the boss. Which rooms you visit is up to you, but all the paths potentially award the same total score on the highest difficulty. The five difficulty levels range from very easy to obnoxiously hard.

Given that it's also a Garden Gnome Carnage spin-off, there'll be a few over-the-top moments and outright weirdness. The game will take around 10-20 minutes to complete depending on difficulty, focusing on replay value and highscores.

There'll be an optional help/information menu, though you'll have to figure out the full potential of the three weapons yourself. All of the game's secrets will be available as "protips" earned by beating higher difficulty levels, starting with the most interesting or rewarding hints for beating the easiest settings.

Sound quality will be somewhat higher than in my previous games. Controls will remain in the style of Operation: Carnage, rather than the "twin stick" setup (such as Geometry Wars). I find it more challenging and fun, and there won't be an option to change due to how drastically it would affect gameplay.

To ensure maximum compatibility, the download will contain two executables of the game running on different Game Maker versions.
