近来在翻译Randver, Silver Lady, Ogdin, Hippinton, Fenwick文件中发现的问题和不

最近加把劲，把暑假领的这些文件差不多都翻译完了，但是还有一些翻译问题，所以我一直没有上传，今天特地过来问问，大家讨论一下...

1.[Sigh] You see more than most, my friend.  You're correct...I hold no animosity towards my father.  My heart breaks...
此句是Randver（矮人王Loghaire之子）所说。you see more than most应该如何才能翻成汉语习语呢？

2.Uh...he have trouble talking after I kill him!
这句话从对话后面的括号里的降低反应度的值看来，这是主角说的话。这里的him，应该是指Randver的父亲Loghaire。这应该如何翻译呢？

3.I am afraid that rules me out. Can't we get someone else to do it?
someone else去做的，是去抓那只巨人。前面应当如何翻译呢？

4.I hope you won't take offense at the beating I'm about to deliver.
这里的beating是什么呢？（也是Hippinton对话中的内容，与静水镇巨人相关。）

5.It is you, is it? I suppose you feel you've made me look the fool with your stealthy antics, eh?
这是Ogdin说的话。后面的stealthy antics应当如何翻译？

6.Ogdin：You had best step lightly in my presence, miscreant.
   主角：I'll step lightly on your face with my boot, fool!
这问答是Ogdin与主角的对话中的，应当如何翻译？

7.Barbaric, but effective in detouring the undesirable element.
这都是形容交斗坑决斗的，“野蛮”，诸如此类，后面如何翻译是好？

8.This one just might be up your alley.
如何翻译？（this one指的是一次试炼， a trial）

9.At your service, and all that nonsense.
一句套话，如何翻译是好？

10.I get that a lot. Most people mistake me for the janitor, or some such nonsense.
这是Fenwick博士说的，janitor可否f翻为“传达室的”...

11.The Stillwater Giant? What about it? Please, tell me it's not another crackpot theory
这里的crackpot theory（裂锅理论）是什么啊？

12. I can understand why someone of your limited intelligence might believe in it, it's normal people that stump me.
its normal people that stump me怎么翻译？

13. Hippintom
这是傻子说的“Hippinton”，我想本意是有歧义的，hippin可能就是hipping，和hippy可能有关，是不是带有“嬉皮汤姆”的意思？

14. I brung giant.
傻子相当然地把bring的过去时说成了brung。但是中文如何翻译能突出这点呢？

15.And it seems that you still walk the shore...this gladdens me...
这是Silver Lady说的。前面提到了魔法之流，后面就经常出现walk the shore，应当如何翻译？

16. I no unnerstand, ghost-lady...wait!
这里的Ghost-lady，相对于Silver-Lady，我把它翻译成了“淫（银）女士”，是否得当？

特有名词表以及说明：
Kryptozoology 职业名 密码动物学
Kryptozoologist 职业名 密码动物学家
Gigantopithecus Arcanus 种名 属名
Gigantopithecus genus 属名，这两个生物拉丁语学名的前面部分“pithecus”我还真没有在字典里查到。所以还是光取giganto-的意思，翻译成“巨人属奥秘种”好了（前面以-cus结尾的是属名，后面的arcanus是种名）。
Dr. Tristan Fenwick 研究静水镇巨人的密码动物学家，博士，塔兰特动物学会
傻子会以为然地把bring的过去时说成brung。
傻子会把Stillwater说成still war（字面上是“还在战争”）。
傻子会把Fenwick说成Fen wack（我酌情翻译成了“坟挖客”）。
H.T. Parnell's Emporium of Wonders 商店名。展览假的静水镇巨人皮毛的地方。
Randver Thunder Stone 矮人国王。昵称Randy。如果和Randver闹僵了，会叫他Blunder Stone。中译应对此加以考虑。
Loghaire Thunder Stone Randver的父亲，矮人的老国王。
Randy是在对话中出现的对Randver的昵称，要考虑一下Randver的中译再考虑Randy的翻译。
Thorvald Two Stones 绝望之岛上唯一的矮人，昵称Thor，傻子会把Odgin说的“Thorvald，my boss”听成是Thorvald的名字叫做“Thorvaldmyboss”。汉译的时候应该一致。
Thors bald two stones 这是傻子说的“Thorvald Two Stone”，字面上成了“托尔（北欧雷神）的两块秃石头”，这个应该和正式确定下来的中译一致。
Borag Thanatos （死亡之岛）上竞技坑（the Pit）里的一名对手
Dwarven Clan 矮人氏族
Ogdin，Og（昵称） Thanatos岛上给Thorvald看门的半兽人
Mr. Chaplaine 查普林，先生（Ogdin为之工作的人）
Miriam, Ms.  Chaplaine先生雇给Ogdin的教师（拉丁语“奇迹的”，“超凡的”）
the Pit 死亡之岛上的角斗坑，竞技场，推荐翻译成“角斗坑”
The Hand，一本书（就是Molochean Hand组织的介绍）
Gorin，the Pit master，死亡之岛的角斗坑主管
King-in-Waiting 铁轮族的Randver这样称呼自己。如果翻译成“太子”恐怕太过搞笑。我酌情翻译成了“继任国王”。
Gudmund Ore Bender “好山”-掘矿者
stone among stones “石中之石”（Randver对父亲Loghaire的形容）
the Clan Wars 矮人氏族战争
Lorek the Abjurer Lorek（我觉得此人是影射希特勒）
the Dredge 大矿坑。傻子会将此说诚Dreeedge，应加以考虑。
the Royal Chamber 皇家寝宫
Logare 傻子说的“Loghaire”
Hippintom 傻子说的“Hippinton”
