感觉没啥变化,背景变下,小兵变boss,连招的计算时间拉长

Just a video showing some changes I made to the fighting engine. Now instead of absorbing orbs to do ultimate techniques, you get up to 3 stocks (indicated by the 3 gray circles on the HUD bar). So essentially they now function as "supers" and you gain stocks depending on how much blood you spill - literally (your own blood counts more towards each stock). You can even super cancel some moves, and of course a level 3 stock does the most damage.

In addition to that, the defense system has changed. I like to call it "persistent guard" as you will automatically block most attacks, even in the middle of most combo strings, as long as you hold the block button while attacking. However, there is a meter (HUD for this meter is not shown in this video) that runs down when you hold the block button. If this meter runs out, you will not be able to block at all. There are still enemy moves that will guard crush and put you into stun even if you block them, and there are enemy moves that are unblockable.
